Types of Work Permit
Post Graduate work Permit

There are two general pathways for obtaining a Canadian work permit: a closed work permit and an open work permit.

It’s the best way to keep workers in Canada working while their applications for permanent residency are processed. It’s an extension to an existing work permit, that allows keeping working until the applicant received PR. The applicant must meet the eligibility criteria to receive a Bridging Open Work Permit

Eligibility Requirement

- The proof is required that you will leave Canada at the end of employment
- May required Police Clearance Certificate to show no record of criminal activity
- Provide other required documents the officer needs to establish your acceptability.
- Good health and no plan to work with an employer on the List of Ineligible Employers
